航空自衛隊“第302飛行隊”とは
“第302飛行隊”が北海道の千歳基地で発足したことから、部隊マークは「オジロワシ」をモチーフに描かれ、羽・尾・脚がそれぞれ部隊名の「三〇二」を表している。

2019年3月19日に百里基地でF-4EJ改のラストフライトを行い、同年3月26日に三沢基地へ移駐。
航空自衛隊で次世代戦闘機F-35Aを運用する初の飛行隊として新編された。
